I do not think you would be able to do with the player himself.
However, you can use a PC to change the speed of audio files without changing the pitch or anything else.
You can run programs such as
MP3 Accelerator (http://mp3-speed-accelerator.smartcode.com/info.html)
but it costs a little.
I am always on the lookout for free software. Tell me if you are.
