Filing Power Of Attorney My Husband Is Currently Deployed To Afghanistan, Do I Need Power Of Attorney To File Joint Taxes For Us?

My husband is currently deployed to afghanistan, do i need power of attorney to file joint taxes for us? - filing power of attorney

I know military receives a file extension, once returned to the States, but we have a little girl and we want to return until next year to receive. I have no power, but want to still make a joint tax return. Please help
